Hello,

As I mentioned at last week's General meeting, the majority who responded
prefer the 10 day Panama Canal cruise in November. This cruise is aboard
the ms Zuiderdam (Holland America Line), roundtrip out of Ft. Lauderdale.
The itinerary is: Half Moon Cay-Bahamas, Aruba, Curacao, Panama Canal,
Cristobal, and Costa Rica. The departure date is November 23rd so for
those of you who want to kick back and enjoy a RELAXING Thanksgiving, you
can look forward to this one.

I have a group reservation for SPSPS already. Current group rates for
the better categories right now are: inside $1,129; oceanview $1,229 -
$1,349; deluxe verandah outside $1,499 - $1,739. These rates are per person
and do not include $247 gov't taxes and fees. The really good news is that
they are currently running a 'Vacation Stimulus Plan' which includes 3rd/4th
guest savings ($660 pp), the fuel supplement has been suspended, deposits
are only $300, and cancellation protection is 25% off. They also have
reduced the number of passengers needed to earn a credit from 16 down to 13
this year. Last year we were able to earn $1,000 for the Squadron since we
had over 32 people in our group.

For those of you who are seriously interested, please email me again to
confirm your intent to go on this cruise. I will then contact each person
to proceed with their reservation and deposit. The sooner we do that, the
better location on the ship we will have. Also, this ship is a newer and
larger ship than last year's ship was and offers a LOT of beautiful verandah
staterooms which are priced very reasonably compared to a regular stateroom.

Please respond to this email by 20 April. Please don't hesitate to email
or call me if you have any further questions.

This will be another AWESOME cruise so don't miss out! Life is too short!

Thank you,

Dawn
