[StPete] Blessing of the Fleet

Hello to all the following who have 'registered' for the Blessing of the
Fleet on Saturday, March 14th : 

(any last minute additions, please let us know that you plan to attend): 

the numbers after each name represent number of people for lunch.

            Water Taxi will be Ken Siegert's boat (2) - (and Jim Turley, if
needed)

 

Attending by Iron Dinghy - (feel free to bring lawn chairs to watch the
blessing in comfort)

We are going to do the Blessing a little different this year - please gather
in the usual area off Demens Landing about 1100, monitoring channel 78.
1115, Andy Bell and our Commander will stand on the pier off the picnic area
to do the blessing of the boats and crew as you pass - please have the 2
taxi's go first and then follow in the usual SPSPS (i.e. give way to your
neighbor); as you approach the pier, please call "Brother Tom" - announce
your boat name and pass the pier slowly.  Once your boat has been blessed,
proceed to the anchoring area and Ken Siegert will come bring your crew to
the picnic.
