John and Wayne,

We u*** to be on the AOL white list, but they blocked us anyway because we
had over 100 AOL addees on some of our messages. I got nowhere trying to get
on their enhanced white list, and I am pretty down on those bastards. When I
went to the Mailman users list to ask about dealing with them, a former AOL
employee really damned them, and wished me luck dealing with them.

The main reason we went to VERP and personalization was hopefully to avoid
the 100 addees limit. Might have worked if we had not been relaying spam to
our alias addresses. Hopefully, Spam Assassin will prevent that.

I leave at 0600 in the morning, and will be out of touch for 36-48 hours.
Will catch all my back messages at that time. So please keep me in the loop.
Meanwhile, I will leave the AOL problem to John.. There is not much point to
getting on their White list, until we stop the relays of spam, or they will
block us again.

The only way I have of looking for spam is receiving the bounces via
postmaster at usps.usps.org . Unless there is a better way to monitor, someone
has to go into the Alias listing and put himself as the second address
there. I suggest itcom-s, which is alia*** to John, but anything that is
monitored will do.

I will catch up with what is going on in two days.
