Ahoy webmasters,
Does your squadron/district have a website that illustrates its interaction
with the boating or general public this year (2004)? If so, the national
Squadron Activities Committee would like to provide a link to it via its
Squadron Activities Links web page
(_www.usps.org/national/boatact/squadronlinks.html_ (http://www.usps.org/national/boatact/squadronlinks.html) ). That page has
just been developed and is in need of your recommendations in order to
better represent the USPS in action. All we ask is that the recommended website
page/s remain available for the year (nobody likes broken links).
Events to consider might be, but not limited to, safe boating week, boat
shows, cooperative charting, parades, vessel safety check, educational cruise,
and any other civic service related activities. The only requirement is that
the page/s contain both pictures and accounts of the activity (the who, what,
when, and where). You folks are doing great things -- so let us help you
spread the word.
