Bill
I agree and the feed back is helpful in order to update our sites. I know
as webmaster for Charlotte I have used the feedback in the past. Strange
thing is this year we were told we had a page that was out of date.
Question was how did the person reviewing the page know that was the latest
data or not. But the impression was if the site had out of date information
then the site failed all together. Anyway that may have been why we got
nothing this year and we did not even rate having our score sheet listed
with the other sites. Last year we were an "Excellant" site though we never
saw the certificate but we were on the list with the other 2003 Sites Must
have made someone mad along the way I guess. No big deal though, I am just
getting too old to worry about such things.

Subject: Re: [USPS-Webmasters] 2004 Website Awards
The discussion regarding the scoring for the 2004 Webawards has been very
interesting and enlightening. The rules for the 2004 awards program were
reviewed with some diligence to assure the resulting evaluation scoring
would be fair and as objective as possible. Most of the items were carried
over from previous years and modified if felt appropriate. As a result we
have learned many things regarding how websites are used by the squadrons.
Based on the information we derived from the input of the 33 evaluators
for last years program and emails such as this recent thread have been put
into the changes that are being developed for the 2005 awards program.
Thanks to all of you who have participated in the 2004 program and have
given us your thoughts. Keep it coming.
