  Webmaster,

Hereunder is a new idea we are trying for our webpage and I would like to share with our other webmasters:

Ocean City Power Squadron is once again participating in the local boat show. We are going to post the “Man-The-Booth” work schedule on the web rather than continually handing out revised work schedules to all our volunteers as changes to the work schedule occur. This should reduce the Boat Show Chairman’s administrative burden and paper work.

Take a look at our home page http://www.ocpowersquadron.org/ and then the month of February in the Event Calendar page http://www.ocpowersquadron.org/Calendar%202008/Calendar%2008%20Index.htm and “left click” on the Work Schedule button listed under the Boat Show information.

If this idea works well, we will consider posting future event work schedules on the website. Problems could develop if the schedule isn’t kept current by the Chairperson and posted by the Web Master however, we are going to try it to see how it works for the Boat Show and go from there.

  Pete Fox (OCPS Webmaster)
