Out here in Iowa I have received 3 contacts for VSCs, and another from a

company wanting a Water Safety presentation. So it does work I thought
the 
low numbers was just my area. Our Squadron has also ran several VSC days
at 
local marinas when a VSC is performed we leave them a business card last

years boat owners are starting to call.
