Hello All VE's,
I have just received a list from National containing about 800 VSC's =
that we can not include in the report totals.
There are a variety of reasons, see below for; " The Cause ", ( The Cure =
), { How to fix }
"Not eligible to do checks, not re-certified"
(Someone did not certify with 5 VSC's last year)
{ Must do two supervised VSC's AND send in the VE-2 form }
"Certificate # / Date / Registration # already exists"
( Someone has already submitted this information )
{Please be sure that only ONE person from the Squadron or =
District sends in the info }
"Certificate # not in Vessel Examiner File"
( No one has notified National that a member has passed the test =
and done 5 supervised VSC's )
{ Complete and SEND IN the VE-2 form, available on our web =
site under Forms and Tools }
"Registration # already exists for the check year"
( Again, someone has already submitted this information )
{ Check your work CAREFULLY, a boat can pass and fail on the =
same report but can't pass twice. }
"Certificate # not found in membership file"
( Someone entered the wrong Certificate Number or did not pay =
their dues this year )
{ Please do an INFORMATION CHECK on all VE's in your =
Squadron }
I would like to have each District Chair or his designee contact me via =
return e-mail so that I can get you the list of Squadrons
and Vessel Examiners in your District who are listed. Please, let's =
keep it to Dist Chairs, I don't think that this "push button brain"
or my "fat little fingers" could handle 2,266 individual requests.
