Subj: Availability Vessel Safety Check Decals; year 2008

USPS Headquarters has received an initial supply of decals. The overall
supply should be more than adequate to meet our needs.

This year's distribution plan will duplicate that used in prior years. The
quantity of decals received at each level will be a function of the past
year's performance. Headquarters has already been given the quantities and
will be shipping that number of decals to the squadrons and districts
beginning this week. All squadrons should have their supply of decals by the
third week in December. 

The shipments will go the officer (VSC Chair) for each district and squadron
as defined to headquarters on the latest OD-1 and OD-2 respectively. If
these forms have not been updated to properly identify these officers the
decals will go to the last officer identified, or if none is identified,
they will go to the Commander of the district or squadron as appropriate. 

Let's start scheduling those VSC for right after the first of the year so we
can hit the ground running. Go get 'em team!
