[ve-l] Mailing List Addresses

Peter and anyone else confused by this,
The new protocol for the email servers at National sends out the list
emails looking as though they are directly addressed to the
individual subscribers. This is to get around certain ISPs and email
clients considering all emails addressed as a 'bulk' group to be
treated as SPAM, and was explained back when the servers were upgraded.
Maybe one of our List Administrators will chime in with further
clarification.
It's confusing at first, but if you set up your email program to sort
the incoming messages (i.e. rule: "From contains ve-1 at usps.org"
"Subject contains [ve-1]) and have that rule or rules send the
associated mails to a 'VSC' mailbox, then you're all set. Anything
from the group goes into that box.
Read, save or delete. Makes archiving the good stuff easy.
