I have Windows Vista Home Premium and have been operating for nearly two months now with Adobe Reader -- with no problems whatsoever!
The Adobe Reader for Windows Vista is available for a free download at the Adobe web site: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
 
One word of small caution: the Adobe Automatic Update for Adobe Reader does not yet operate automatically; it must be manually initiated from time to time.  Adobe is working to correct this problem.
