I had a similar idea for the District site, even to the point of creating
dummy pages so that the individual district officers could write their own
in MS Word and send them to me to publish. My reward was a low score on the
judging last year because the pages were incomplete. I'm still waiting,
too...

I thought I had a brilliant idea at the beginning of this year.
I would make each section of the web site the responsibility of the
corresponding bridge officer. This should help reduce my work load.
Cdr - General information and reports from HQ
XO - External information - C&R, etc
AO - Internal information - parties, dinners, etc
SEO - class information
Sec - meeting & dates announcements
Information was to be submitted to the Web master electronically in a
timely manner.
The idea worked flawlessly. After the COW all I had to do was posted
the new organization contact list, General Members and ExComm meeting
dates and wait.
...... still waiting
I think I an now qualified to join Maytag
