I know that this issue has gone around before, but I'm checking once again.

Has anyone come up with a method, like the HQ version, to check for 
authorized access using PHP & MySQL?

Is there anyone among us who has some PHP & MySQL background and 
would help me if I get stuck writing the program?
I have a little background in this area, but am concerned with 
security pitfalls.
