Fellow Webmasters:

I know we're all busy with our lives, and that we all have a lot to do to
get our respective
sites ready for the upcoming evaluations, but I've fiddled around a bit
with the standard
web-ring code that Bob Payette did, that can be found on the USPS ITCom
site, in order
to clean it up a little, and make it more aesthetic.

I've added a small graphic to the table, (a life ring) to show graphically
the "Ring" and
also to remind us about safety, and as a play on the ring concept. I've
communicated
with Bob, since he originated the idea, and he's supportive of me making
the code
available to USPS Webmasters at large.

A brief note about the graphic: I took an image of a life ring from the
USPS Clip Art CD
and cleaned it up, making it much smoother, and clearer. I have it on my
squadron's
site, at the bottom of the main page, and if anyone is interested, I'll
send along the
code for the table, along with instructions how to capture the image to add
to your site
so we can all have a consistent and uniform web ring entry.

I don't know how to forward the graphic to the entire list, so I won't
bother, but if anyone
wants it, they can feel free to email me directly, and I will send it
along. My email is at the
bottom of every page on the website: www.srsps.com

Thanks, and good luck with your evaluations!
