Squadron Burgee Heraldry:
The Red, White and Blue in our burgee are not only national colors but traditional yachting colors. The outline of the State of Wisconsin shows the State of Incorporation of our Squadron and with the anchor highlights the word "Central" in our name. The Squadron draws members from the entire central portion of the state and in particular the four "ruralplex" cities of Wausau, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield. The fouled anchor again calls attention to the boating theme. The four quadrants of the blue and red colors further call attention to the center of the state by their design and relate to the four cities mentioned.
