Squadron Burgee: hempstead.png
Squadron Burgee Heraldry: The Squadron Pennant was adopted in 1955. It was the prize winning entry submitted by P/C George Marstaller from among six entries submitted.
The Hempstead Power Squadron’s burgee takes its colors from the United States Power Squadron’s ensign. Stripes represent Hempstead was 9th squadron of D3. The red and white throwable device represents safe boating. The blue represents the water of Long Island Sound.
Hempstead Bay's Executive Committee approves the burgee's heraldry as shown above.
