The Indian Chief on our pennant represents the Potawotami Indian Tribe whose villages were located on the marsh lands known today as the Skokie Valley. Skokie is the Indian name for marsh.
The Red, White, and Blue are symbolic of our National and United States Power Squadron Ensigns.
