31 May Day Challenge

Come join in the fun for 31 days of USPS/America's Boating Club challenges!  This is for both members and non-members to learn about our organization, keep up with boating, maybe win a prize, and keep the quarantined blues away!

 

How to Play:

1. Bookmark this page in browser to access the daily descriptions and the calendar.

2. On your start date, create a social media page with these words "Come join me as I learn more about United States Power Squadrons

2. Each day, come back and complete the challenge.

3. After completing the task, promote the challenge on Social Media (must add #ForBoatersByBoaters in order to participate).

4. Share your posts, again and again, to encourage your friends and followers to join us.  (Bonus points for sharing the same post multiple times!)

5. Encourage others to participate by commenting on other friends/members post regarding the 31 May Day Challenge.

6. It is never too late to start!  Regardless of your start date,

Welcome to the Marketing Committee (MARCOM). Here you can find out about marketing and promotion of America's Boating Club® and information to help you develop and implement an effective marketing program for your district or squadron.

MARCOM’s role is to create marketing policies, techniques, tools and branding specifications throughout the organization. We develop marketing strategies at the national level and provide written guidance, consultation, and marketing materials to districts and squadrons to help them promote their activities and recruit members.

Download the new America’s Boating Club® Marketing Guidebook version 2.3 March 2020 (click HERE). It is extensive and comprehensive. Use it as your Go-To compendium for guidance to help you develop a marketing program, promote education and social activities, and recruit members. The Guidebook includes instructions and use of the America's Boating Club brand and links to marketing materials such as brochures and PowerPoint presentations, approved logos, instructions and information on marketing techniques, a training program on running a boat show booth, and the latest brand standards specifications.

Note that the Brand Standards Manual is now incorporated into the Marketing Guidebook.

Trifold marketing brochures may be downloaded for local printing from the left menu, or ordered from US Power Squadrons Headquarters at a cost of $0.25 each.
