Basic Report Information
  1. Check investigation date for consistency in reporting. Multiple reports investigated on the same day by the same observer should be questioned.
  2. Check if chart number, edition and date reflect the most recent chart information.
  3. Check if time and mileage seem reasonable for the items being reported.
  4. Check if time and mileage appear consistent if multiple reports are investigated the same day or are they duplications.
  5. Check to make sure the report falls in the proper category.
  6. Check for correct Adopt-A-Chart designation.
  7. Read any comments to see if clarification is provided.
