Lake Mohave Sail & Power Squadron
A Unit of United States Power Squadrons® - District 28
Sail and Power Boating

Boating is fun..We'll show you how

Lake Mohave, located along the borders of Arizona and Nevada, is one of a series of reservoirs that control the Colorado River water flow between its head waters and the Gulf of California. Lake Mohave was formed with the completion of Davis Dam in 1951 and put into service in 1952 as part of a Colorado River water agreement between the United States and Mexico. The Lake Mohave Sail & Power Squadron serves the Arizona cities of Bullhead, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Kingman and Laughlin, Nevada.

Lake Mohave Sail & Power Squadron

The Lake Mohave Sail & Power Squadron was formed in response to the needs of area boaters for boating safety education and to enhance their boating experience. In addition to specialized boating classes offered to its members, the Squadron offers boating safety classes to general public and in the local school system. If you are interested in an upcoming boating safety class contact the Squadron Education Officer, Mike Accardo
