All of our examiners are trained and supervised so that they are knowledgeable about boating requirements.

This is a FREE service provided to the public by our Squadron.
Getting a Safety Check is just getting some help from

a knowledgeable buddy.

USPS is a private not-for-profit organization of boaters

and our members have

NO law enforcement ability and
NO government connection regarding the condition of your boat.

All vessels found to be in compliance will be given a

new 2013 VSC sticker to be displayed on the vessel.

Any deficiencies found are noted only so that you may

 correct them and have the vessel re-examined.

Squadron Members: Are you interested in becoming a VSC Examiner?

If you are a fairly knowledgeable boater , then it is an easy process. Instruction and a manual will be provided to you and you will be supervised during your first 5 Boat Exams.. After that, go meet fellow boaters, help folks and have fun!
