Halloween Party and Dinner Meeting

The Halloween Party is held on a Saturday night before, but close to 31 October at a member’s home. Wearing of costumes is encouraged and a prize is given for the best male and best female costume as determined by a vote of the attendees with no Chicago-style graveyard voting involved. The meal is provided by members or Sea Gals for a nominal charge. A short Member Meeting is convened, and members may attend this meeting without participating in the meal. The main purpose of this assembly is social and fellowship with conversations often dealing with member boating activities, although Valley Ho Squadron business, usually brief, is conducted during the meeting.
