One of the main goals of USPS is “boating safety through education” — we believe that an educated boater is a safer boater. Taking a boating class reduces your risk of accidents and injuries, saves you money on boat insurance, and qualifies you for a state boat license or operator certificate in most states. If you are new to boating our America’s Boating Course is the best place to start. It is the most comprehensive, single source, in-person boating course available to give you the skills you need to enjoy your time on the water and boat with confidence. Once you have completed your basic boating education you are ready to start building upon that knowledge and enhancing your skill set. To that end, USPS teaches a series of outstanding courses and seminars that cover advanced seamanship, navigational techniques, boat handling, maintenance, and many more advanced topics. These classes will build upon your basic boating skills and make you a safer, more confident boater.
