Awards

"Enthusiasm one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your objective. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

T he measure of an organization can be determined in no small part by the awards it receives. We are pleased to announce the following awards that have been made for individual accomplishment or outstanding service  to the Squadron, District or National USPS.

Everett M. LeBel Educational Achievement Award

District

This award is given annually to the squadron that has the most active educational program using a formula based on squadron members participation in continuing education.

Receipt of this year's award is due in no small measure to the dedication of our past Squadron Education Officer, P/D/Lt/C Clifford W. McKibbin, SN. But Cliff will be the first to tell you that credit for the success of a squadron's educational program does not rest solely on the shoulders of its SEO. Acknowledgement must also be given to the instructors who selflessly give of their time and talent and their students who value and pursue the benefits of a continuing education. Hats off to you all!
