*** We all know that prudent mariners check the USCG Local
Notice to Mariners (LNM) before any boating trip, but it was
difficult in the past to actually do this. As of November 2024
this has become significantly easier. An upgrade to the Marine
Safety Information Product was implemented allowing a check of
LNMs on a chart, with daily updates. Access the new feature by
clicking HERE. Be sure to follow the start
instructions at the top of the page.
