It is our belief that knowledge is the key to a safe and enjoyable boating experience. If you would like to find out where you stand, take our boating quiz. We attempt to increase the knowledge level of the boating public thru our public boating courses and we offer advanced courses to our members.

We also take an active role in ensuring the safety of the recreational vessels on our waters thru the Vessel Safety Check program. If you would like to have your boat checked, we can put you in touch with an examiner.

It's alway wise before going out on the water to let someone know where you are going and when you expect to return. If you're going cruising be sure to file a Float Plan.
